The Western Regional Health Authority  (WRHA) invites tenders for the supply and installation of a new 25-ton air condition system for the Administrative Office of the Cornwall Regional Hospital.

To be eligible for evaluation, the following documents must be included in their bid for verification at the tender opening: 1) Proof of being listed on either the NCC list of goods and services contractors in the Electrical Appliance and Equipment category or the NCC works contractors list in the Heating, Ventilation, Air-Condition and Refrigeration category. Proof means submission of a valid NCC Certificate and 2) Copy of a valid TCC. 

Tender documents may be obtained from: The Procurement Department, Western Regional Health Authority, 2nd Floor, Cornwall Regional Hospital, Mount Salem, Montego Bay, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $2,000 in cash or certified manager's cheque, payable to the Western Regional Health Authority as of November 12, 2008. Office hours are between the hours 8:30am to 5:00pm Mondays to Thursdays and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Fridays.

The closing date for the submission of tenders is 12:00 noon Est, December 3, 2008. Tenders being submitted should be addressed to:  The Regional Director, Attention: Procurement Officer, Western Regional Health Authority, 2nd Floor, Cornwall Regional Hospital, Mount Salem, Montego Bay, St. James. The tender box will be located at the front desk of the Western Regional Health Authority on the 2nd Floor of the Cornwall Regional Hospital and bidders or their representative will be expected to log and deposit their bid in it.

Tenders will be opened publicly at 12:15pm December 3, 2008 in the Small Conference Room located on the 2nd Floor of the Cornwall Regional Hospital, Mount Salem, Montego Bay. Tenderers are invited to attend or send their representatives to the public opening.
